I appreciate the comprehensive help section within the app, which offers FAQs and troubleshooting tips, making it easy to resolve issues independently. Their commitment to customer satisfaction is evident, making me feel valued as a user.
Security & Privacy Review
As an American user, I've considered security and privacy when using Deezer. The app is available on official app stores like the App Store and Google Play, providing a level of assurance regarding its safety. During registration, I was required to provide basic information, including my email and a password, which felt standard and secure. Deezer’s privacy policies are transparent; they clearly outline how personal data is used, which is reassuring in today’s digital landscape. While the free version includes ads, I haven’t noticed intrusive tracking behavior, and the app allows users to manage their privacy settings effectively, giving me peace of mind while enjoying music and podcasts.

It's a work in progress for me. I switched from Spotify and still getting used to the format. Because I am comparing, I would give a higher rating if little things were different such not having to open the app to simply like a song. It would also be great to be able to automatically play the last song directly from my phone. Besides those things, I think the app is still getting used to my music choices as they don't always play the consistent genre, such as similar song choices.

I like the service overall, but playback on mobile is frustratingly slow. It can take well over 30 seconds upon selecting a song for it to even begin to play. Skipping thankfully doesn't have this issue, but when you want to choose the next song yourself, it's a ridiculously long load time for downloaded audio files. I don't have this issue on PC or Mac, just the mobile app. It's my only real complaint, but it's a consistent and intrusive one.

I recently switched to Deezer premium from Spotify, and I've mostly been enjoying it. But lately I've been having an issue where if I pause a playlist for too long, say overnight, I can't resume it when I come back. I have to start all over again. This is really annoying for me as I like to completely finish a playlist without having to repeat songs. I might have to try another platform if this is going to be a continuous problem.

Update 2: Half the songs on the app just stopped working. It pops up a message whenever a song comes up that it's unable to play, and requests you to pull up the app and troubleshoot it, but usually when I'm listening to Deezer hands free, I'm driving. I am unable to pull up my phone while driving to read the message while I'm driving. Deezer promotes usage of their app while driving, or it promotes driving in silence 🤷♂️ I've finally decided to uninstall this app. Not worth the hassle.

This is my first day. I'm loving it. nice set up. many options on your set up even as far as design, color. they have every kind of music to choose from. runs very smooth. able to get to my playlist with no problem. I paid the $11.99 and it is worth it so far. I'm finding all my favorite songs and music . I wish you would have done some advertising cause I went through dozens of apps in Play store before I found you guys. yea so far absolutely great 👍
