Used to great and would recommend to all my friends but then started having a ton of bugs. I gave it the benefit of the doubt but it's literally been like 2+ years of it now. It will try to end the round early, make you go back a hole then forward to be able to enter your score, it's no longer saving and posting rounds when you have a guest among many other issues and my friends are seeing the same issues. Sad to see an app I loved so much go so downhill. Finally time to move on.

I decided to try this and 18Birdies at the same time for both the first times. Initially, I thought I was going to like the Grint a lot more between the two because it had a load more features. However while using it more and more, I started discovering that the app spends more of my time showing me the things I can't have unless I pay, rather than focusing the new user experience on what is available and how to get started. 18Birdies while with fewer features, I'm able to get going far faster.

Update: it appears they have also reduced the battery drain significantly. Bravo to the dev team again! Update: thanks for fixing the "measure distance" function. Going to 5 stars. As a software developer, I have a (vague) idea what's involved. Impressive! Works Very Well - However, one little annoyance is having to tap the measure distance icon on then off then on again to get the club selection to come up and continue. Another is the battery usage. Wow!

The GPS tracking software is glitchy. I have a pixel 3 watch that I use to track shots and a pixel 10 phone. I have attempted to track 5 rounds of golf using the GPS tracker. I have yet to complete a round where the app worked well. I have my watch set to use GPS tracking but my experience is that the watch doesn't always track the right shot after stopping and starting to record next shot. What I set on my watch and see post matches ... less than 50% of the time is correct. Not worth the money.

This review is focused on smart watch integration (with Galaxy 5). The app on the phone seems to work well. but is cumbersome to pull out the phone on each shot. For the last 6months, I have been trying to use the app with the smart watch. I have sent feedback on issues to Front several times. No updates yet. The watch app usually locks up during a round when shot tracking. When that happens, you can no longer enter scores into the watch. Sometimes the the watch disconnects from the phon
