Real Experience Using Breitbart
Application Scenarios
As a busy professional, I often find myself juggling multiple tasks throughout the day. That’s where the Breitbart app shines. During my morning commute, I rely on the app’s customizable news feed to catch up on the latest developments in politics and culture. I’ll often read the day’s top stories while sipping my coffee, making the most of my time. Later, during lunch breaks, I dive into the in-depth analyses that help reinforce my understanding of current events. The real-time alerts are particularly useful when breaking news occurs; I receive a notification just as I’m wrapping up a meeting, allowing me to stay updated without missing a beat.
User Experience
The user interface of the Breitbart app is sleek and intuitive, making navigation a breeze. I appreciate the clean layout, which allows for easy access to various sections without feeling cluttered. The feature workflow is seamless; I can effortlessly scroll through articles and switch between categories with just a few taps. Performance-wise, the app runs smoothly without any lag, which is crucial for someone like me who values efficiency. Overall, the feeling after using the app is one of satisfaction; it’s a reliable source of news that feels tailored to my interests.
Pricing
The Breitbart app is free to download and use, which makes it accessible to a wide audience. While there might be ads present, the content remains substantial and engaging, allowing users to enjoy quality journalism without any upfront costs. There is also an option for premium content, which enhances the overall experience, though the free version is comprehensive enough for most users.
Updates & Support
Breitbart regularly updates its app to improve functionality and user experience. I’ve noticed enhancements in performance and new features being added over time, which speaks to their commitment to providing a top-tier news platform. Customer support is responsive and helpful; whenever I’ve encountered a minor issue, I’ve received prompt assistance, making me feel valued as a user.
Security & Privacy Review
When it comes to security and privacy, the Breitbart app takes several important measures to ensure user safety. Available on both the App Store and Google Play, it adheres to standard security protocols that protect user data. Registration requires minimal personal information, which is a significant plus for users concerned about privacy. However, like many news apps, Breitbart does collect data to personalize user experiences and serve relevant ads, which may raise concerns for those wary of tracking behavior. It’s important to review the privacy policy for detailed information on data usage and to adjust your settings according to your comfort level. Overall, while there are some typical trade-offs for a free app, I felt reassured by the app’s commitment to user privacy and security.

When this app works, I enjoy reading Breitbart's content. Always entertaining and informative, and one day it even gave me something to cite in one of my classes. However, the app really struggles functionally. I know my phone is not the issue because Fox News and Wall Street Journal load fine. This app is slow to load, and crashes half the time. It has gotten much worse over the last several months. If it ever gets fixed, I'll up my rating. I am on a Samsung Galaxy A15, for reference.

This used to be a wonderful app. Then, about a year ago, it stopped letting me sign into Disqus. If I want to comment, I have to open it up in Chrome and sign in that way. I thought maybe it was my outdated phone, but I got a new one, and it still won't sign in. I could tolerate this issue. Recently, it began crashing all the time, and now the articles struggle to load and refresh. I thought it needed an update, but there's no update available. They need to fix these major issues.

I like the news source. They have good content. But their app constantly crashes. Sometimes I need to remove and reinstall the app to get it to work. This has been an issue for some time and over several devices. 25OCT23.... it is not to the point that I have to Uninstaller and reinstalled at least once a month to get it to update the headlines. 27OCT23. It's only been two days, hasn't updated so I will once again uninstall and try again. SURE WOULD BE NICE FOR THIS ISSUE TO BE ADDRESSED.

An App in Progress. Used to read BBN in Edge until I made the mistake of trying the "full screen" mode. No way to get the original view back that I could find so I downloaded the app. Now I find there's no way to change the app to dark screen mode. Unless I'm missing something, BB tech support needs to go to work.

I love to read the articles in this app. However, over the past month or two, none of the articles reload. Meaning the same articles that were on there in the same order, are still there many hours later. I have deleted the app plenty of times to fix the issue but it stays the same. Also, every time I go to refresh the app, it closes it.
