Real Experience Using FaxFlow - Send Fax from Phone
Application Scenarios
In my day-to-day life, I often find myself needing to send faxes for various reasons. For instance, I recently took on a freelance project that required me to send contracts and agreements back and forth. Instead of relying on a clunky office fax machine, I opted for FaxFlow. The app allowed me to send a signed contract to a client within minutes, all from the comfort of my couch. Another scenario was when I had to submit a time-sensitive document to my bank. I was in a rush, but with FaxFlow, I quickly uploaded my document, added a signature, and sent it off without any hassle.
User Experience
The user interface of FaxFlow is sleek and intuitive. From the moment I opened the app, I was impressed by how easy it was to navigate. The home screen displays my recent faxes, making it easy to resend or check statuses. The workflow is straightforward: I can select a document, add a recipient, and hit send — it’s that simple! Performance-wise, the app is quick and responsive. I’ve never experienced any lag, and the real-time updates keep me informed about the status of my faxes. Overall, using FaxFlow has been a delightful experience; it takes the stress out of faxing, making it feel less like a chore and more like a seamless part of my work routine.
Pricing
FaxFlow offers a variety of pricing plans to cater to different user needs. While there is a free trial available, I opted for the monthly subscription to take advantage of unlimited faxing. The pricing is competitive compared to other services, and for someone who frequently sends faxes, I found it to be worth the investment. Additionally, the pricing structure is transparent, with no hidden fees, which is a refreshing change in today’s app marketplace.
Updates & Support
The support team for FaxFlow is responsive and helpful. I had a minor question regarding the app’s features, and I was pleasantly surprised to receive a reply within a few hours. The developers also regularly push updates to improve functionality and security. This commitment to user experience gives me confidence that the app will continue to evolve and adapt to my needs as a user.
Security & Privacy Review
When it comes to security and privacy, FaxFlow takes significant measures to protect its users, particularly for American users who are often concerned about data privacy. The app is available for download on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of trust. Registration requires minimal personal data, which I appreciate; I only needed to provide my email and create a password. This streamlined process makes it easy to get started without compromising my privacy.
Moreover, FaxFlow does not bombard users with ads, which is a relief. I’ve noticed no aggressive tracking behavior, and I feel confident that my documents are being transmitted securely. The app uses encryption for faxes, ensuring that sensitive information remains confidential. Overall, FaxFlow prioritizes user security and privacy, making it an excellent choice for anyone who needs to send sensitive documents via fax.

I tried it once and was then prompted for this review. Up to this point, there were no fees or ads. I logged in with my Google account, uploaded the docs, put my name and phone number, the destination fax number, and completed the optional cover letter. It was free and really easy. I'll update the review if I discover it didn't work. Update: The fax didn't go through. After I wrote the review, I was prompted to pay for the service: ~$15/wk, ~$30/mo or ~$200/yr.

Well, I got my fax all set up and it was so simple to set up that when it asked me to give it a rating, I gave it a 5 star because at that point it had given me no reason not to. I didn't think you had to pay to send faxes until after you sent the review, then pops up the $14.99 subscription for unlimited faxes for only ONE week. Um, thats not what I wanted. Guess easy peasy comes with major melon squeezey.

App asks you to leave a review with how easy the fax was to create. Next screen they tell you it's $14.99 minimum and for unlimited faxes. Insane that there isn't an option to pay a bit per page. Most folks don't need unlimited, they are hoping you set up the automatic billing and forget to cancel. Do better, developers, be upfront about your costs and don't try to get a review before someone sees the payment page.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I paid the subscription fees with no issue. When I tried to fax something, it brings up the subscription page. It does not recognize that I already paid the fee and I can't use the service. There is no phone number to call so now I have to wait for someone to answer an email. Terrible and they took my money. I will file a fraud claim if not resolved immediately. They also hide the fact that you can choose just to receive faxes for a lower price, very sneaky.

Bait and Switch It says "send free fax" lets you get all the way through the tedious process of scanning the documents (with no way to control when or how it scans, so you get wonky blurry images and have to rescan several times, only to get to the point where it is time to send. Then they prompt you to rate the app. So you probably leave a decent rating, thinking you're about to send your free fax. Except you're not. You're prompted to sign up for a weekly subscription.
