Security & Privacy Review
As an American user, I am always cautious about security and privacy when using mobile apps. Manobook - Los Besos de Jacob is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which gives me confidence in its legitimacy. The registration process is simple, requiring only an email address and a username, which I appreciate because it minimizes the personal data I need to share. Importantly, the app does not bombard me with ads, and I have not noticed any invasive tracking behavior. This aspect enhances my overall experience, allowing me to focus solely on the storytelling without distractions or privacy concerns.

Not worth it. AI written stories without decent editing. Must either pay a subscription or buy coins to unlock "chapters" & they ensure so many chapters you could end up paying major bucks for a poorly written story. All meant to force you towards a subscription purchase. Free option involves watching an ad to unlock each chapter. The problem is they aren't really chapters, they aren't even scenes, they're segments of scenes. You get about 30 seconds of reading time per 2 minute repetitive ad.

It's not a terrible reading site, but it could improve. I don't understand why it gives you most rewards in points when you need coins to unlock chapters. There are also layered pages that you cannot even read in some chapters. Pretty unprofessional. However, the amount of free chapters is fair, but the ads are unbearably long and takes away from the reading experience. Of course they want you to pay and pay.

I would have given this app more stars because the writing is good, & stories are interesting, but it's entirely too expensive. whenever I try to watch ads to get points it tells me "The number of ads is limited. Please recharge." all that tells me is that this app is a money grab. ALSO, how stupid do they think I am? you think I'm going to pay $100 to unlock all 113 chapters of a book? do you know how many books I can buy at Target or Walmart for $100? five or six, easily. atp, might uninstall.

I was enjoying a few stories. I don't mind watching ads. at least there is the option to watch THREE for a new chapter. But then there's the "read 3 articles" and it is the most frustrating thing. Sometimes, going to the article page works. Sometimes, it SAYS it works but when you return to the app, it says you have read 0/3. But the biggest slap in the face is opening the article and getting a "failed" message. How can I "fail" read/watching an ad? There's no other option but to pay.

Scammers for sure. Can read for "watching ads" and most of the time, the ads dont end up counting toward reading. supposed to have to watch 2 or 3 ads but usually end up having to watch 6 or more to get a very short chapter. The content is very redundant and instead of continuing on with a story, each chapter is a wordy repeat of the previous. Game play earns points, but points disappear while reading and when you contact them, they argue and then state unavailable. Frauds.
