Features & Highlights

Seeing is an innovative app designed to enhance everyday experiences through its unique features. As a user, I’ve found several highlights that truly set it apart and make it an indispensable tool in my daily life. Here are some of the core features that I believe everyone should know about:

  • Real-Time Object Recognition: This feature allows the app to identify and describe objects around you in real-time. For example, while I was walking in a local park, I pointed my phone at a tree and heard the app identify it, explaining its type and even giving tips on its care.
  • Text Recognition: Seeing can scan and read text aloud, which has been particularly useful in navigating documents and signs. Just last week, I used it to read the menu at a restaurant, allowing me to make an informed choice without needing assistance.
  • Voice Navigation: The app provides voice-guided navigation, making it easier to explore new places. On a recent trip, I relied on Seeing to guide me through a busy city, and it helped me find my way without any hassle.
  • Community Support: The built-in community feature allows users to share experiences and tips with each other. I recently connected with a fellow user who shared insightful tips on optimizing the app’s features based on their own experiences.
  • Customizable Settings: Seeing allows users to tailor the app according to their preferences, such as adjusting the voice speed and choosing which notifications to receive. I have personalized my settings to streamline my interaction and enhance usability.

Real Experience Using Seeing

Application Scenarios

Using Seeing has seamlessly integrated into my daily routine, enhancing both my personal and professional life. For instance, I often find myself in meetings where documents are shared. I use the text recognition feature to scan important papers, which allows me to focus on the discussion rather than struggling to read the fine print. Additionally, while grocery shopping, I’ve utilized the real-time object recognition feature to identify products and compare prices, making my shopping experience more efficient and informed.

User Experience

The user interface of Seeing is intuitively designed, with an elegant layout that makes navigating through features a breeze. The home screen presents all options clearly, and I appreciate how quickly I can access the functions I need. The feature workflow is smooth; for example, switching from text recognition to voice navigation only requires a couple of taps. Performance-wise, the app runs reliably without noticeable lag, even when I’m in crowded places where network connectivity can be spotty. Overall, my experience with Seeing has been overwhelmingly positive, as it empowers me to engage with my environment in ways I never thought possible.

Pricing

Seeing offers a competitive pricing model that includes a free tier with basic features, which I found to be quite functional for casual use. For those who want to unlock advanced capabilities, there’s a premium subscription available at a reasonable monthly rate. I decided to opt for the premium version after a week of testing, as it provides additional features that enhanced my user experience significantly.

Updates & Support

The developers frequently release updates, which is reassuring for any user concerned about app longevity and improvements. Each update has brought new features or optimizations that reflect user feedback, showing a commitment to enhancing the app. Whenever I have questions or encounter issues, the customer support team is responsive and helpful, often providing solutions within a day. This level of support has made me feel valued as a user.

Security & Privacy Review

As an American user, security and privacy are paramount for me when using any app, and Seeing does not disappoint. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a level of credibility. Registration is straightforward, requiring only essential personal data, which I appreciate for minimizing my exposure to unnecessary information gathering. Importantly, the app does not bombard users with ads or engage in invasive tracking behavior, allowing me to use it with peace of mind. Their privacy policy is transparent, detailing how user data is handled, and I feel confident that my information is secure while using Seeing.

This camera is now useless. I was only using it for the live video, now you have to pay to view the camera. Its no longer useful at all when. I'd rather spend more on a better quality camera that doesnt lag when loading anyway. Plus, I already had a problem with the fat that they never sent me a chime, so the doorbell doesnt sound off in the house. they also refused to send a chime, but I was using the camera to get notifications of my packages arriving and it did its job for the holidays.

The picture is clear, great night vision, and easy set up. I'm on the fence regarding battery life. Sometimes it seems to let for a while and others it seems to run out somewhat quickly. The bad thing about the app/camera are all the gaps in footage. I have the subscription, and the camera will not record full interactions or it will completely miss motion at the door like someone coming in or out of the house. Those gaps can be pivotal.

Generally it works for my needs. Clean pictures The battery life seems good, I don't have to charge it very often, maybe because I only use it for short periods of time a day. Cons you can't change the view remotely, it's stationary. Biggest con is every so often it won't let you view anything because it insists on a cloud subscription. I Don't need to store any views ! I would have gotten a camera with an SD slot. I just need to check the view and that's all. No subscription!

was decent when you had to view ads to check camera feed. but even before that you couldn't see who was at your door or to view life feed without watching an ad. now you have to pay to watch live feed hhhmmm seems a bit sketchy. trash and new cams without paying for subscription.( update) ended up paying for subscription, mind you i have 2 cameras and since I subscribed the problems have evolved, the cameras die faster, I can't watch live feed, it catches what it wants to catch at times.

Would give this app 0 stars if I could. Only worked the 1st day. Connected to wifi and battery is charged. Pointed outward from door and covers driveway, so it should capture people. It doesn't capture any movement when people are around. I can only watch the live view, which isn't helpful. No alerts or video when someone comes to the door. Paid for the 1 year subscription but will not renew it. Basically, only the doorbell works. No response from customer service. I do not recommend this app!
