Real Experience Using Waiter: less dating, more love
Application Scenarios
Using Waiter has become a part of my weekly routine, especially when I’m looking to unwind after a busy week. On Friday evenings, I often check the app to see if there are any group activities planned for the weekend. Last month, I stumbled upon a local food truck festival organized through Waiter. I was able to sign up for the event, where I not only enjoyed amazing food but also struck up conversations with fellow food lovers. It was refreshing to engage in a social setting where the pressure of dating was lifted, making it easier to connect with others.
In addition to weekend outings, I’ve also used Waiter to join a book club that meets bi-weekly. This has allowed me to engage with other literary enthusiasts and share my thoughts on the latest bestsellers. It’s a great way to meet people in a relaxed environment, and I’ve made some wonderful friendships along the way.
User Experience
From the moment I downloaded Waiter, I was impressed by its user-friendly interface. The onboarding process was straightforward, allowing me to create a profile in just a few minutes. I appreciated how the app prompted me to select my interests, which helped tailor my matches effectively. The layout is clean and modern, with intuitive navigation that makes it easy to browse profiles and join activities.
The feature workflow is seamless; I can quickly switch between viewing potential matches and checking out upcoming events. Notifications are timely, letting me know when someone has liked my profile or when new activities are posted. I’ve experienced minimal lag during my use, which is a breath of fresh air compared to other dating apps that often feel sluggish. Overall, my experience with Waiter has been positive, leaving me feeling hopeful about meeting new people.
Pricing
Waiter operates on a freemium model, which means you can access a variety of features without spending a dime. However, there’s also a premium subscription that offers additional perks, such as unlimited messaging and access to exclusive events. I found the pricing reasonable, and considering the app’s unique approach to building connections, I believe the premium features are worth it for those looking to enhance their experience.
Updates & Support
The development team behind Waiter is proactive in rolling out updates, which is something I genuinely appreciate. They listen to user feedback and continuously improve the app. Whenever a new feature is introduced, I receive notifications explaining how to make the most of it. The customer support is responsive too; I once had a question about a bug, and they addressed it within hours. This commitment to user satisfaction has made me feel valued as a member of the Waiter community.
Security & Privacy Review
As an American user, security and privacy are of utmost importance to me, and I was pleased to see that Waiter prioritizes these aspects. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring it meets industry standards for security.
When registering, users are only required to provide essential personal data, such as a name and email address, which I found reassuring. Unlike some dating apps that demand excessive personal information, Waiter respects user privacy and limits data collection.
Moreover, the app does not bombard users with ads or invasive tracking behavior, maintaining a clean user experience. There are options to adjust privacy settings, allowing me to control who sees my profile and who can message me. Overall, Waiter strikes a commendable balance between offering a social platform and protecting user privacy, which is essential in today’s digital landscape.

it's a scam. paid for the premium and immediately after all communication stopped, as soon as it ended immediately started getting requests, messages, and told to upgrade. even people contacting me said go premium so we can talk more, then they disappear. stay away from this app. it's junk. a scam, and customer support takes a month to respond with a generic response.

Horrible. This app is a waste of time and money. The app forces you to pay just to be able to message people and then has the audacity to charge more for the other extras. The price and length of the subscription might sound worthwhile, but its really not. And, I was constantly, for lack of a better term and a great play on words, "Waiting" days or weeks to hear back from the people that I matched with. I do not recommend this app.

I love the concept of this app. Picking between 3 profiles is an awesome idea. That being said, the current version is too cookie-cutter. Like, all of the profiles have "pre-filled" entries, so you can't write anything original. Don't like any of the standard 10 music genres? Have hobbies outside of their pre-filled entries? Too bad, you can't write any in. That also makes it very hard to gauge what your potential match will be like.

Don't waste you're money. The cheapest number of tokens you can buy is 20$. But you'd really only use that feature once or twice (2$ worth of tokens). Now the app says there's no more people in my area(no matter the search criteria) and I'm stuck with 19$ worth of tokens. Also takes forever to actually match with someone. I can't even find three profiles most days now.

You get one set of 3 individuals per 24hrs. Of that set, you can pick one to send a like, and you supposedly have a 1 in 3 chance of being picked as well. Essentially the app is good, but only picking one person per 24hrs is not enough. You can get more with a subscription. If you're using it free, there is literally nothing more to the app then setting up your profile, then picking one person every 24hrs out of 3 options.
