I don't understand what the people running this app. are thinking. now, you can't even click on a story without it going to some sort of weird advertisement Pic. you have to wait for it to time out then reverse back to the article you were trying to read. it does this almost every time. this used to be a great app. with entertaining news. now it's just annoying. I'll try it for a bit longer. I can't be the only one thinking this way. maybe they will change. otherwise, there are a other options

I downloaded Local News hoping to get reliable local reporting, but I've been disappointed. A lot of the articles I've seen use sensational headlines, contain unverified claims, or present speculation as if it were fact. I often have to double-check stories with other sources before I trust them. A news app should make it easy to distinguish between verified reporting, opinion, and rumors. In its current form,I don't feel confident relying on this app for accurate news. please do your research.

after the latest update, it doesn't play any of the noted videos. 😡 Please stop with all the Chinese ads!! They are never ending!! I block them with a VPN, but then none of the videos play!! C'mon Opera you can do WAY better. 🤬

"USELESS"... This so-called News APP has twice as many ADS than News articles, even though the News articles seem like they were written by High school kids. Therefore I refuse to tolerate intrusive, unskippable, pointless ADS along with childish news stories... UNINSTALL INDEFINITELY👎

it has variety news stations all in that app it will send you notifications for breaking news and whatever else you made turn on when you get in there in the settings with each one to do with it but figured out at work good Go check it out you might like it lol 🤙😉
