Customer support is prompt and efficient; I once had a question regarding my subscription, and the response time was impressively swift. This level of support reassures me that my concerns are valued and addressed.

It is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds to its credibility. While the app is the best way to read the terrific writing of the Inquirer's amazing writers, the app often takes a long time to load articles, doesn't always fully load them, or just gives you an error message and backs out to the home screen. When it fails to fully load, many times it will partially load, then a picture shows up, then just show blank white space.

This service is designed so it's hard to cancel. There are no emails sent prior to payments being collected and it every 28 days instead of monthly so it's hard to know when. The payment schedule is not available online. There is also no option to cancel without calling and they have pretty bad customer service hours for a company with no account details online. How hard is it to ad a cancel link to the website and app?? How hard is it to send a email prior to or even after a payment ?? 😕

Decent app. Almost great. Reason for 4 instead of 5 stars: 1. Some notifications are dead links. They open the app but the article is not found. 2. Swiping through pictures is clunky. Sometimes the app will scroll up and down instead of moving to the next picture. It will also inadvertently click ads instead of going to the next picture. 3. Load time for articles is too long. Sometimes it's upwards of 10 seconds. 4. Clicking a notification results in the app opening with an article not found.

Articles are great, the main issue is that I can't always read them. The ads and photos load fine, but the text doesn't load until I press randomly near where the text should be. This often presses an ad instead, so that's incredibly annoying. I'm also not super fond of how many ads are put in the articles when I'm paying so much per month.

Good paper but the app isn't great. Each of my sports scores are displayed twice on the front page, which also buries the news. When reading articles it's easy to accidentally click on ads, and sometimes you have to wait for the text of an article to pop in between the ads. Not a great reading experience, especially considering how much you pay for the subscription. They should take a lesson from the Washington Post app.
