4.7 Features & Highlights
Patient Access is a comprehensive health management app that provides a seamless way for users to interact with their healthcare providers. After spending some time using the app, I can confidently highlight some of its core features that truly stand out:
Real Experience Using Patient Access
Application Scenarios
In my daily life, the Patient Access app has become an essential tool for managing my health. For example, I often travel for work, which can lead to missed appointments or forgotten prescriptions. With Patient Access, I can book appointments on the go, ensuring that my health remains a priority even when my schedule gets hectic. Just last month, while in a different city for a conference, I realized I needed a follow-up appointment. I quickly opened the app, checked my doctor’s availability, and secured my appointment without any hassle.
User Experience
The user interface of Patient Access is sleek and intuitive, making navigation a breeze. Upon opening the app, I’m greeted with a clean dashboard that clearly displays my upcoming appointments, messages, and medication reminders. The workflow is seamless; for instance, when I want to check my medical records, I simply tap on the relevant section, and all my information is readily available. The performance is impressive; I’ve experienced no lag or crashes, which is crucial when I’m trying to access important health information quickly. Overall, my experience with the app has been overwhelmingly positive. It feels as though my entire healthcare journey is at my fingertips, giving me peace of mind and a greater sense of control over my health.
Pricing
Patient Access is free to download and use, which is a significant advantage. There are no hidden fees or subscription costs, allowing everyone to take advantage of its robust features without worrying about their budget. This accessibility is commendable, especially for individuals who might be hesitant to invest in health management tools.
Updates & Support
The app is regularly updated, which reflects the developers' commitment to improving user experience and functionality. I recently noticed an update that added new features and streamlined the appointment booking process even further. Moreover, customer support is readily available through the app, which I found helpful when I had a question about accessing my records. The support team was responsive and guided me through the process, making my experience even better.
Security & Privacy Review
As a user concerned about security and privacy, I was pleased to see that Patient Access adheres to strict guidelines regarding data protection. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the standards set by these platforms. During registration, I only needed to provide essential personal information, such as my name, email, and health insurance details, which felt appropriate for the services offered.
Importantly, I found no intrusive ads or excessive tracking behavior within the app. This is a significant plus, as it allows me to focus on my health without the annoyance of unwanted advertisements or concerns about my data being sold. The secure messaging feature also reassured me that my communications with healthcare providers remain confidential and protected. Overall, Patient Access does an excellent job of balancing functionality with privacy, making it a reliable tool for managing my health.

Awful since the memorable name was introduced! It's diabolical. I have changed it so many times, I have even had my partner and friend both help me with 3 different memorable names and all were the correct characters, it didn't accept anything. Are 3 people wrong? It will not allow me to log in and continually says the memorable name is wrong. It is not. The app is now awful, and I am looking at alternatives it's become so hard to use, in fact not even able to use.

Was good. But since there are so many security protocals to go through everytime you log in it has become a nightmare to use. Also the dates never add up on repeat prescriptions. They never account for the fact that it can take time before your able to collect meds. Even though at the top of their app/site it states (takes 3 working days to process) so they never add that onto the amount you have to last, so you end up without for a few days if its something you have to take on a regular basis.

Installed and opened. Tried to sign in and advised my browser doesn't support it! What's the point then? Never had any issues like this with apps before. Yet another private company failing it's contract. Easier still just log on using a browser anyway. That's all the app. achieves, or not. Can't even log in through a browser now. Correct details submitted. Can't try more than 3 times or the account is locked!

No good for families. The last patient access I was able to log in to mine and my children's account with ease, with the app remembering multiple registration numbers. With this one you have to register an email to access your account. You can only do one so I have to look up my children's registration numbers and enter them manually each time. Not user friendly!

This app, as well as the web interface, has been broken for months. I have logged tickets with their technical support but aside from an auto responder, there is no response and the bugs are not being fixed. For months I have been unable to login. Now it seems we can login but then you can't get past the sign on step. Really really bad... I need to be able to order meds!
