2.5 Features & Highlights
Real Experience Using Redtiger Cam
Application Scenarios
My journey with Redtiger Cam began during a family road trip last summer. As we traveled through scenic routes, I wanted to capture every moment, from the breathtaking landscapes to our silly car karaoke sessions. The app became my go-to tool for recording videos, and I often used the real-time streaming feature to share our adventures with friends and family who couldn't join us. Additionally, I found it invaluable when hosting family gatherings, as I was able to set up multiple cameras and record different angles of memorable moments, from the kids playing in the backyard to the laughter-filled dinner table.
User Experience
The user interface of Redtiger Cam is one of its standout features. Upon opening the app, I was greeted with a clean and modern layout that made finding features easy. The workflow is seamless; switching between recording, editing, and sharing is straightforward. I particularly appreciated how responsive the app was—there were no lags when I switched between different functionalities. The performance was impressive, with high-quality video output that made my recordings look professional. Overall, using the app felt like a breeze, and I left each session feeling satisfied with the ease of capturing and sharing my moments.
Pricing
Redtiger Cam offers a free version with basic features, which is fantastic for casual users. However, for those looking to unlock advanced editing tools and additional cloud storage options, a subscription plan is available at a reasonable price. I found the subscription worth every penny, as it significantly enhanced my overall experience and provided me with peace of mind regarding backing up my precious memories.
Updates & Support
One of the things I appreciate about Redtiger Cam is its commitment to regular updates, which frequently introduce new features and improvements based on user feedback. The support team is also responsive; I had a minor issue with syncing my videos once, and their customer service was quick to assist me, ensuring that I could continue using the app with minimal disruption. It’s reassuring to know that the developers are actively working to enhance users’ experiences.
Security & Privacy Review
When it comes to security and privacy, Redtiger Cam is committed to protecting user data, which is a crucial concern for many American users. The app is available on official app stores, such as the App Store and Google Play, which ensures a level of safety in downloading it. Registration requires minimal personal data, primarily focusing on creating an account to access the app's features.
I was relieved to find that Redtiger Cam doesn’t bombard users with ads or invasive tracking behavior. The developers prioritize user experience without compromising privacy. The app does collect some data to enhance its services, but it is transparent about what information is gathered and how it is used. For anyone concerned about privacy, these factors make Redtiger Cam a secure option.

Like others have said: requires an INSANE amount of permissions and forces an account creation and sign in. Also, if you have a partner, they will NOT be able to also use the app; it's one person per device. Absolute trash. Developers, you should be ashamed. p.s. Required permissions: Precise location (at all times). Camera access. Nearby Devices. Notifications. Phone (that's right, this app can read all your placed/received calls). Turning any of the above off bricks the app!

hmm, I read all the reviews on Amazon and it looked great so I bought 1, then I read all this feedback yikes! so when I installed it and it wouldn't connect to my phone I wasn't too surprised:( then I realized my VPN was still on so flicked it off and BINGO! it connected instantly and updated all the directories woohoo! it connects to the app seamlessly and works perfectly, soooo, turn off your VPN when connecting to it and you'll be good as gold, as it is now it's all working perfectly, yay!

*Tentative 4 star with potential for upgrade after a two week family trip we're about to embark on* So far based on the negative reviews I saw here I really have to chalk some of the issues up to user errors. If you're even a little bit savvy you can get this set up pretty quickly. I've not installed it in my vehicle yet but all seems to be connected with the app and working well. I opted for a new SD card just to ensure quality but all recordings from the desk here have been crisp and logged.

I have purchased this camera after watching the connectivity with the car touchscreen using black colour app. Now that black colour application was removed from the playstore. Complete waste money if there is an additional system to see live recording. Needs support from the team so that the display will be compatible with the car touchscreen.

When I deleted the old app, I thought this one would be better, faster, more streamlined. No. The parking mode no longer works: they sent me an SD Card, there is no power fault, I reset the device, I reset the app, yet still, it doesn't work. I spent a lot of money on my camera, and I'm left with something that doesn't work the way it should. The only thing I can commend is the customer service. They're prompt, fast, and eager to help. But there's still no fix.
