  The billing for this application is entrapment. I signed up for the trial and forgot to cancel it before the automatic billing charged me for a 2-year subscription. That was my mistake. No problem. I will just cancel it so they don't charge me against my will again. But their cancellation page literally says that if you cancel you lose access to all advanced modes. So they charge you up front and then threaten to take it away if you cancel the auto renewal. Don't fall into their trap!

  was trying to learn Irish and was excited to find this app. that was until I found out that there's no real beginner mode for Irish. A bunch of other languages have it but Irish isn't one of them. I'm on a free trial and would've loved to keep it but I'm not paying for a subscription hoping you'll add more beginner options for Irish someday. I have no interest in another language.

  Love the scenarios. Allows me to formulate proper sentences without feeling embarrassed. Also great that I can go back and review my mistakes. That's just scratching the surface. There are great exercises for beginners but being a intermediate I was struggling with a platform that could take me to the next level. TalkPal is that next level. Simply awesome!

  This is an excellent app. I am an intermediate level Spanish language student, and I can see this app works well for beginning, intermediate, and advanced learners. It includes many wide-ranging types of grammar-related practice, and also includes specialized vocabulary and terminology coverages for many different types of interests and professions. For myself, this app has also shown patience towards me as a student, which is definitely appreciated.

  After I slowed down the speech, this was amazing! I'm was initially too fast and advanced. it's a very versatile tool. The other app that begins with Prak has easier speech and will let you go free range off topic more, but this one will swing the conversation back to what it asks you. This one sometimes gets such and I have to restart it, but it's amazing! I think I'm buying premium for both for awhile because these are game changers.
